The Filangeri Project

In 2008 we had the opportunity to travel to Santa Flavia in Palermo, Sicily, the site of Palazzo Filangeri, which is now being used as the town hall. On the ceiling was painted the Filangeri coat of arms displayed here.

We are gathering information about our forebears who emigrated to the U.S. in the early 1900's. If you are a descendant of  Antonio, Elviro, Eduardo, Mario, or Providenza Filangeri, who emigrated from Palermo to NYC, we would like to complete our family lineage. Please send any photos and stories you would like to post on this blog.

You can send information to dennis@filangeri.info or add your comments below.

Visit the Filangeri Project link for more information and other family links.
