The Hurtigruten mail ferry travels up and down the Norwegian coast, visiting 37 different ports, some for only a few minutes, some for several hours. They have long-haul passengers, who, like us, have cabins, and short-haul passengers just going between ports. There were lots of Norwegians, Germans, Brits, and a few Americans. Travelling off-season means few tourists (and fewer kiddies).
